Delaney and Joe are getting married on February 22, 2020 in Manistee, Michigan at a venue that overlooks the Manistee River channel. Their winter wedding will make you feel ready for some cold weather; lots of candles, soft lighting, a stone fireplace, and a cozy blanket on a cold, Michigan winter night.
They met their senior year of high school and became close friends a few years later. After realizing they may be more than just friends, they gave dating a shot in 2015 and haven’t looked back.
You are not ready for this proposal story. Joe and Delaney were puppy-sitting a friend’s new puppy… or so she thought. They picked up the pup and took him to Joe’s house, and Joe asked Delaney to grab something from the other room. When she came back empty-handed, Joe was down on one knee with a ring in his hand. He then told Delaney that the puppy was actually theirs to keep! And of course, she said yes to a puppy proposal.
Following their engagement, they met with Elizabeth from Elizabeth Marie Photography and took stunning engagement photos in the river. Delaney loved the idea of wearing a full-length skirt in the river for their romantic shoot, and Joe, though hesitant at first, climbed right with her. That is true love right there!
After they tie the knot, The Oleniczaks will enjoy married life for a bit before jetting off to Alaska for their honeymoon in the summer.
